Overview
Jacksons is a Penzance-based financial planning firm helping individuals and families take an active role in their financial future. Their Craft CMS website is central to how the firm presents itself to prospective clients, communicates with its existing client base, and publishes regular updates and articles.
When Jacksons came to us, the site had been built by a previous agency. Made by Bridge took over responsibility for its ongoing support and maintenance, ensuring the site remains secure, up to date and in good hands.
Since taking over, we’ve also extended the site, adding a Resources area where Jacksons can share guides, videos and investment information directly with their clients.

We manage Craft CMS core and plugin updates on a regular cycle and watch for security advisories, applying critical patches straight away rather than waiting for the next scheduled update.

Support time and licences
A quarterly block of support hours covers content changes and general help, and we handle plugin and CMS licence renewals so Jacksons doesn’t have to.

Beyond maintenance, we continue to develop the site as Jacksons’ needs change, from small improvements to larger additions, such as the Client Resources area.
Why it matters

Taking over another agency’s site also needs care: understanding how it was built, what it depends on and where the risks are. Our support plan means Jacksons’ site is looked after by a team that knows it, so they can focus on their clients.
Client resource library
Jacksons wanted one place to share key information with clients: articles, infographics, investment profiles and how-to videos.
The Resources area is kept out of the main navigation and search engines and is built around how Jacksons actually works with clients. Rather than expecting clients to browse, the team usually sends a link to exactly what someone needs. That might be a single guide, everything on a topic like tax wrappers, or all the videos about investment profiles. Search and filter settings are saved in the URL, so any search or filtered view can be shared as a link.
Some content, like investment profiles, changes over time for regulatory reasons. Jacksons needs to keep every previous version for compliance while making sure clients only ever see the current one. We set up dated versions in Craft CMS: clients see the latest, and earlier versions stay available to the Jacksons team for audit purposes.
Shareable search and filters
Resources can be searched and filtered by category and content type. Every search and filter is saved in the URL, so the team can send clients a direct link to exactly the right results.
Version-controlled compliance content
Investment profiles and other regulated content are published as dated versions. Clients only ever see the current one, while previous versions remain available to the team for compliance.
How-to video library
A library of short how-to videos, starting with guides to Jacksons’ client portal, gives clients quick answers in one place.
